'I Heard the Echo of your Footsteps in Paradise in front of Me'[Bukhari]{A secret between only U & Allah!}

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah

As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu

Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) relates :-

the Prophet (may Allah's Blessings and Peace be upon him) said to Bilal:-

"Tell me~ Bilal! of your most hopeful action since your acceptance of Islam~
because
I have heard the echo of your footsteps in Paradise in front of me?"

Bilal replied:-
"I do not consider any of my actions more hopeful (of acceptance from Allah) than that whenever I have made my ablutions (Wudu) during the day or night I have each time offered by way of prayer that which Allah has made easy for me."

Source:-{ Bukhari Book #21, Hadith #250) & Muslim}

Notes:-
No One knew about this action except Bilal . . . . and Allah.

And look how great Allah's Reward was . . .

Do any of us  have an action that ONLY Allah knows we are doing?

This is what truly makes an action special . . .
when you are so sincere that you seek
only the Pleasure of Allah.

Give away something you absolutely love, wake up at night to pray, visit an orphanage, give out some charity, really forgive someone who hurt you, submit to Allah's Decree in something you don't like. . .
or like Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) pray 2 rak'aats each time you make wudu . . . and keep it "a secret" between only you and Allah.

Then, on the Day that you finally meet Him, you will have something special to present to Him . . . something you can be sure was sincerely for
His Pleasure.

'What Will Cause U to Have High Walled Palaces in Paradise' ['Quran' Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi wa Sallam][Excellent]

Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem

As Salaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakaatuhu

'Be quick in the forgiveness from your Lord, and pardon (all) men - for
Allah loves those who do good.'

['Quran'~Surah Ali Imran; 3:133-134]

Al-Fudhail bin said:-

"Associate with those who have good behavior, for
they will only call you to goodness, and accompanying them provides
comfort. As for ill-mannered persons, they only call to evil.

Therefore
do not associate with them, so that you save yourself from their ill conduct.

I prefer associating with a sinner who has good mannerism, to
associating with a worshipper whose mannerism with people is unbecoming.

Verily, the former type ~the sinner who had good conduct in public uses
caution with people,

who like him because he is easy going, while the
latter, who has bad mannerism, is despised and disliked to people."

If you hate a person, you hate something in her that is part of
yourself.

What isn't apart of ourselves doesn't disturb us.

Do you hate someone? Do you really hate someone you haven't spoken
to [ him or her ] for a while?

You've been blaming [him or her? ]

You're not the only one; the Muslim Ummah today is diseased with this to
the extent that almost every Muslim knows another Muslim who [ he or she ] hates.

The Ummah is like a building with the Muslims as it's bricks,
 Brotherhood & Sisterhood the cement.

It Doesn't work without forgiveness

Alright then [ he or she ] wronged you.

 deceived you.

 backbit you.

 lied to you!!

 But !!!
even in these extreme situations the
Qur'an and the Hadith teach us that
we have to forgive others !

[especially those who hurt us the most]

if we wish to
earn  Allah's  forgiveness   on the day of Judgment.

We have all committed many sins~

made many mistakes~

& [undoubtedly] wronged others~

 we have deceived others~

we have done'Gheeba'

 others

 & perhaps  lied to others.

So what makes us focus onto another's  errors while we remain
unconscious of our own?

Not to forgive is to live in arrogance~

and
ignorance of our own shortcomings~

Forgiveness is linked with piety and God-consciousness .

Do we not know that Allah forgives those who forgive others?

Allah[ Jalla Jalaluh ] says in the Qur'an:-

And we know that Allah Himself is

Ar-Rahmaan

[ the Most Compassionate ]
and
Ar-Raheem [the Most Merciful]

and that His Mercy is infinite~

 and that no
matter the Sin (except Shirk)

Allah is always willing to answer the person's call for forgiveness.

In fact Allah loves the tear drop that falls from the eye of one who sincerely
seeks the forgiveness of his Lord.

And Allah loves us to have hearts that are ready to forgive.

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam) once asked his companions:-

'Do you know what will cause you to have high walled palaces in Paradise
(as a symbol of great reward) and will cause you to be raised by Allah?'

When they replied in the negative, he said,

'To be forgiving and to control yourself in the face of provocation,

to give justice to the person who was unfair and unjust to you,

to give to someone even
though he did not give to you when you were in need.

 and to keep connection with
someone who may not have reciprocated your concern.'

Similarly the Prophet

(Sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said that:-

'the best of people are those who are slow to get angry and quick to
forgive.

On the other hand the worst of people are those, he said who get angry
quickly
but are slow to forgive'.

The characteristic that makes a person most likely to forgive is the
purity of his or her heart.

Apologies must be accepted.

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said that:-

'Whoever apologises to his brother and that apology is not accepted, then the
person who refuses to accept the

apology bears the sin of one who takes

the property of another unjustly.'

If we look at the example and the character of the Prophet

(Sallallahu'alayhi wa sallam)

we can see that he was always forgiving and never showed
enmity to
anyone except those who waged war against him.

There was an old lady who used to throw rubbish in his way every day, on
one
occasion she did not throw rubbish in the street, so he decided to go
and see
what was the matter.

She was ill in bed, to her amazement, the Messenger of Allah

(Sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam)

came to see her and find out about her.

She then accepted Islam .

This is the example of the man whom we claim to follow.

Some might say that to forgive is a sign of weakness and humiliation,
and for
them it is better to be strong and preserve their honor.

But honor in the eyes
of Allah lies in forgiveness.

'But indeed if any shows patience and forgives that would truly be an
exercise
of courageous will and resolution in the conduct of affairs.'

[Surah 42:43]

If we are to be really strong then we have to be strong against Shaytaan
and
forgive our Brothers & Sisters, and in this way maybe Allah will decide,
Insha Allah, to forgive ourselves for our many mistakes....honour in the eyes of Allah lies in Forgiveness!

Alhamdullilah !

Benefiting the Dead

Benefiting the Dead

The Qur'aan established two general principles concerning the reward and punishment for deeds:

1) Each human will fundamentally only be benefited or harmed by the deeds which he or she actually did.

"…that humans will only have the result of theiractions." [Soorah an-Najm (53):39]

2) No human can carry the sin of another.

"…that no one bearing sins can carry the sins ofothers." [Soorah an-Najm (53):38]

Consequently, when a person dies, the opportunity for that person to do good ends with the person's death.  However, the chance to harvest good from deeds which were done prior to death remains.

Du'aa

The prayers of other Muslims on behalf of the dead will benefit the dead, by the permission of God.  Had they done no good, no one would consider praying for them. If they were evil, the prayers of others will not benefit them.   In Chapter al-Hashr (59):10, Allaah praises the believers who pray for those who have passed away before their time.

"And those who came after them say: Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith, and do not put in our hearts any hatred against the believers. Our Lord, You are indeed full of kindness, Most Merciful."

Furthermore, the funeral prayer itself consists mostly of prayers for the dead.

Safwaan [the narrator mentioned that Safwaan ibn `Abdillaah ibnSafwaan was married to ad-Dardaa] said, "I visited Abud-Dardaa's home in Syria, but did not find him there. Ummud-Dardaa asked [me], 'Are you going to make Hajj this year?'  I said:  'Yes.'  She said, 'Pray to Allaah for good for us, for the Prophet (sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said, "The prayer of Muslim for his Muslim brother in his absence will be answered. As long as he prays for the good of his brother, there is an angel assigned near his head who says: Amen, and may the same be for you."' I left and went to the marketplace where I met Abud-Dardaa and he related from the Prophet (sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) the same as that." [Sahih Muslim, vol.4, p.1429, no.6590.]

Fasting

Fasts missed by dead persons may be done on their behalf by their close relatives. The fasts may be from Ramalaan or from oaths(nathar).

`Aa'ishah quoted Allaah's Messenger (sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) as saying, "Whoever died owing fasts, his guardian should fast on his behalf" [Sahih Al-Bukhari, vol. 3, p.99, no.173, and Sahih Muslim, vol. 2, p.556, no. 2553.]

Ibn 'Abbaas said:  A man came to the Prophet (sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) and asked:  O Messenger of Allaah, my mother died owing one month of fasting.  Should I do it for her? He replied, "Yes, debts to Allaah, have more right to be paid." [Sahih Al-Bukhari, vol. 3, p. 99, no. 174, and Sahih Muslim, vol. 2, p. 556, no. 2554.]  In another narration a woman asked about her mother's debt of fasting and got the same reply. [Sahih Muslim, vol. 2, pp. 556-7, nos. 2554, 2557-61.]

Paying Financial Debts

Anyone may cover the debts of a dead person, whether they are relatives or not.  Furthermore, the payment of outstanding debts can benefit the dead by relieving them from some of the punishment due to them for their negligence in repaying them.

Jaabir said:  A man died and we washed him, perfumed him and shrouded him.  Then we brought him to Allaah's Messenger (sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) to lead the funeral prayer for him.  We asked, "Could you pray for him?"  He took a step forward then asked,"Does he have any outstanding debts?" We answered:  "Twodeenaars." [He said, "Make the funeral prayer for your companion," and] [This addition can be found in another narration of the hadeeth] began to leave. Aboo Qataadah took responsibility for [paying] them, saying, "The two deenaars are my responsibility."   Allaah's Messenger (sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) asked, "Will the creditor be taken care of and will the dead person be absolved from them?" He replied, "Yes," so the Prophet (sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) led the funeral prayer for him. One day later he asked [Aboo Qataadah],"What was done about the two deenaars?" He replied, "He only died yesterday!"   The following day he returned to the Prophet (sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) and said, "I have paid them off."  The Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said, "Now his skin has become cool." [Musnad Ahmad, vol.3, p.330; authenticated in Ahkaamul-Janaa'iz, p. 16]

Does the Reward of Reciting the Quraan reach the Dead? [Quran-'Yaa Seen]~Shaikh Al-Albani ]

Bismillahir Rehmanir Raheem

Assalam Alaikum Wa Rehmath Ullahi Wa Barkatahu

إِنَّ مَن أكثر ذِكْر الْمَوْت قَلت حسده وبغيه

"Indeed the one who frequents the remembrance of death :

He will decrease in his jealousy and transgression [on others]."

[Zuhd of Imaam Ahmad : 776]
Question:-
O Shaikh, is it allowed to send the reward for reciting the Quraan [to a dead person]? Some people use what you said in your notes on the Explanation of Al-Aqidah al-Tahaawiyyah as a proof in this regard, that you hold it to be permissible …

Al-Albani: I do not say, my brother, that it is permitted unrestrictedly. [Rather] I say that the earnings of the child … as he عليه السلام said:-
"The best earnings are those which a man receives through his own work. And your children are from your earnings."
And the Most High said;-
"And We record that which they send before and their traces …" [ Quran-'Yaa Seen' 36:12]
And he عليه الصلاة السلام said in an authentic hadith,"When a person dies …" and in another narration, "When the son of Aadam dies, his actions are cut off except for
three:- recurring charity, or knowledge that others benefit by, or a righteous son who supplicates for him."
So this righteous son, his righteous actions will benefit his parents, because he is a trace that they have left behind,
"And We record that which they send before and their traces …"
And I do not say that this recitation will benefit other than the parents or that any righteous action [which he does] will benefit other than his parents.
And maybe you will recall that some of the past scholars say that charity given by a person on behalf of some of the Muslims will reach them even if they are not his parents. In this situation we specify that it will [only] reach the parents. So the charity a son gives will reach the parents, and every righteous action [he/she does] like freeing a slave and other acts of worship in general will reach the parents due to the generality of the proofs I just mentioned.
As for other than the parents benefitting from this charity and these acts of worship, part of which is recitation of the Quraan, then we do not hold this generality.
For this reason it is fitting that such a statement be looked at again so that something we did not say is not attributed to us.
We only hold this limited restriction to be correct

"ALLAH Would Make Things Easy for him in the Hereafter". [Sahih Muslim] Very Good!

 Abu Huraira (Radi'Allahu anhu) reported
Allah's Messenger (Sall'Allahu alaihi wasallam) as saying:-

"He who alleviates the suffering of a brother
out of the sufferings of the world,
Allah would alleviate his suffering
from the sufferings of the Day of Resurrection,

and he who finds relief for one
who is hard pressed,
Allah would make things easy for him

and he who conceals the faults of a Muslim,
Allah would conceal his faults
in the world and in the Hereafter.

Allah is at the back of a servant
so long as the servant is at the back of his brother.

and he who treads the path in search of knowledge,
Allah would make that path easy,
leading to Paradise for him,

and those persons who assemble
in the house among the houses of Allah (mosques)
and recite the Book of Allah
and they learn and teach the Qur'an
(among themselves)
there would descend upon them the tranquility
and mercy would cover them
and the angels would surround them
and Allah makes a mention of them
in the presence of those near Him,

and he who is slow-paced in doing good deeds,
his (high) descent does not make him go ahead."

This is because Allaah The Exalted has described the knowledgeable ones,
