Exhibition of historic remains from Makka in Makkah Al-Mukarramah
The exhibition building is located close to the Kiswa factory (The Kaaba cover) on Old Makkah Jeddah road The purpose is to protect the important remains from the two holy masjids. It has 7 exhibition halls which contain several remains as well as old/new photographs.
This is the reception where the pilgrims are explained about the building of the holy masjids and the extensions/renovati ons it witnessed.
Masjidul-Haram Exhibition hall that contains historical remains of which is this Staircase to Kaba which is from the year 1240 Hijri
! This is the old covering for Maqame-Ibrahim until it was replaced during the time of Late King Fahad bin Abdulaziz L.A These are the crests from minarets of Haram from 1299 Hijri. These are the casings of Hajre-Aswad one of which is from the time of Sultan Murad Khan and other one from the Saudi times. In the photographic exhibition there are photographs from the 12thCentury Hijri.
