Why Do We Read Quran, Even If We Can't Understand A **Single Arabic ** word????

Assalamu Alaykum,*

* **This is a beautiful story.

An old man lived on a farm in the mountains of eastern **Kentucky with his  young grandson. Each morning Grandpa was up early  sitting at the kitchen  table reading his Qur'an. His grandson wanted to be just like him and tried to imitate him in every way he could.

One day the grandson asked, 'Grandpa! I try to read the Qur'an just like you but I don't understand it, and what I do understand I forget as soon as I close the book. What good does reading the Qur'an do?'

The Grandfather quietly turned from putting coal in the stove and replied, 'Take this coal basket down to the river and bring me back a basket of water.'

The boy did as he was told, but all the water leaked out before he got back to the house. The grandfather laughed and said, 'you'll have to move a little faster next time,' and sent him back to the river with the basket to try again. This time the boy ran faster, but again the basket was empty before he returned home. Out of breath, he told his grandfather that it was impossible to carry water in a basket, and he went to get a bucket instead. The old man said, 'I don't want a bucket of water; I want a basket of water. You're just not trying hard enough,' and he went out the door to watch the boy try again.

At this point, the boy knew it was impossible, but he wanted to show his grandfather that even if he ran as fast as he could, the water would leak out before he got back to the house. The boy again dipped the basket into river and ran hard, but when he reached his grandfather the basket was again empty. Out of breath, he said, 'See Grandpa, it's useless!'

'So you think it is useless?' The old man said, 'Look at the basket.'

The boy looked at the basket and for the first time realized that the basket was different. It had been transformed from a dirty old coal basket and was now clean, inside and out.

'Son, that's what happens when you read the Qur'an. You might not understand or remember everything, but when you read it, you will be changed, inside and out. That is the work of Allah in our lives.'**

THE MOST SUPERIOR AMONG MUSLIMS!!

UTHMAN BIN AFFAN (RA) REPORTED ALLAH'S PROPHET MOHAMMED (PBUH) SAID,"THE MOST SUPERIOR   AMONG MUSLIMS ARE THOSE WHO LEARN QURAN AND TEACH THEM".(BUKHARI 6.546)

Allah is My Fountain of Life and My Savior.

To all Muslims.
IT IS REAL AND VERIFIABLE ...

Vander Hoven, a psychologist from Netherlands, announced his new discovery about the effect of reading the Qur'aan and repeating the word ALLAH both on patients and on normal persons. The Dutch professor confirms his discovery with studies and research applied on many patients over a period of three years. Some of his patients were non-Muslims, others do not speak Arabic and were trained to pronounce the word 'ALLAH' clearly; the result was great, particularly on those who suffer from dejection and tension. Al Watan, a Saudi daily reported that the psychologist was quoted to say that Muslims who can read Arabic and who read the Quran regularly could protect themselves from psychological diseases.

The psychologist explained how each letter in the word '
ALLAH' affects healing of psychological diseases. He pointed out in his research that pronouncing the first letter in the word 'ALLAH' which is the letter (A), released from the respiratory system, controls breathing. He added that pronouncing the velar consonant (L) in the Arabic way, with the tongue touching slightly the upper part of the jaw producing a short pause and then repeating the same pause constantly, relaxes the aspiration.

Also, pronouncing the last letter which is the letter (
H) makes a contact between the lungs and the heart and in turn this contact controls the heartbeat. What is exciting in the study is that this psychologist is a non-Muslim, but interested in Islamic sciences and searching for the secrets of the HolYQuran Allah, The Great and Glorious, says, We will show them Our signs in the universe and in their ownselves, until it becomes manifest to (remember me in ur Dua) ALLAHU AKBAR Allah is greatAllah keeps me going day and night. Without Allah, I am no one. But with Allah, I can do everything. Allah is my strength.' This is a simple test. If you love Allah and you are not ashamed of all the great things that he has done for you, send this to everyone you know, May Allah help u to succeed...Ameen

During the next 60 seconds, stop whatever you are doing, and take this opportunity. (Literally it is only 1 minute) All you have to do is the following:  You simply say 'A prayer' for the person that sent you this message.
Allah said, 'If you are ashamed of me, I will be ashamed of you.'  If you are not ashamed, send this message...only if you believe. 'Yes, I love AllahAllah is my fountain of Life and My Savior.

Think About This

A Story Worth Reading .

Since last night my young son has been unwell. When I got back from Work this evening I decided to take him to hospital despite my exhaustion.
There were many waiting; perhaps we will be delayed by more than an hour. I took my number and sat down in the waiting room. There were many faces, young and old, but all silent. Some brothers  made use of the many booklets available in the waiting room.

Some of those waiting had their eyes closed, while others were looking around. Most were bored. Once in a while the long silence was broken by a nurse calling out a number. Happiness appears on the one whose turn it is, and he gets up quickly; then silence returns.

A young man grabbed my attention. He was reading a pocket-sized Qur`an continuously; not raising his head even once. At first I did not think much about him. However, after one hour of waiting my casual glances turned into a deep reflection about his lifestyle and how he utilizes his time.  One hour of life wasted! Instead of making benefit of that hour, it was just a boring wait. Then the call for prayer was made. We went to prayer in the hospital's Masjid. I tried to pray close to the man who was reading the Qur'an earlier in the waiting room.

After the prayer I walked with him. I informed him of how impressed I was of him and how he tries to benefit from his time. He told me that most of our time is wasted without any benefit. These are days that go from our lives without being conscious of them or regretting their waste. He said that he started carrying the pocket-sized Qur`an around when a friend encouraged him to make full use of his time. He told me that in the time other people waste he gets to read much more of the Qur`an than he gets to read either at home or in the masjid. Moreover, besides the reward of reading the Qur`an, this habit saves him from boredom and stress.

He added that he has now been waiting for one and a half hours. Then he asked, when will you find one and a half hours to read the Qur`an? I reflected; How much time do we waste? How many moments of our lives pass by, and yet we do not account for how they passed by? Indeed, how many months pass by and we do not read the Qur`an? I came to respect my companion, and I discovered that I am to stand for account and that time is not in my hand; so what am I waiting for?

My thoughts were interrupted by the nurse calling out my number; I went to the doctor. But I want to achieve something now. After I left the hospital I quickly went to the bookshop and bought a pocket-sized Qur`an. I decided to be mindful of how I spend the time. If this information is beneficial to you, then please do forward it to your friends and relatives.

Our Prophet (SAW) said; 'Whoever guides or directs to good, then he gets the same amount of blessing (reward) as the one who does it'

The Prophet (SAW) also said 'Pass on knowledge from me even if it is only one verse'

@@@Dua before Iftaar@@@

Assalmuillakum,

Dua before Iftaar
Once Moosa (AS) asked Allah Subhaana'O'Ta'ala:
O Allah! You have granted me the honor and privilege of talking to you directly, Have you given this privilege to any other person?
Allah Ta'ala replied, O!! Moosa during the last period I am going to send an Ummat, who will be the Ummat of Mohammed (SAW) with dry lips, parched tongues, emaciated body with eyes sunken deep into their sockets, with livers dry and stomachs suffering the pangs of hunger
will call out to me (in dua) they will be much much closer to me than you O Moosa! while you speak to me there are 70000 veils between  you and me but at the time of iftaar there will not be a single veil between me and the fasting Ummati of Mohammed (SAW) O!! Moosa I have taken upon myself the responsibility that at the time of iftaar I will never refuse the dua of a fasting person!

Humble Request: Please spread this Hadith as much as possible.

4 Ramadhan ul Mubarak - Hadith

3 Ramadhan ul Mubarak - Hadith

2 Ramadhan ul Mubarak

First Ramadhan 2010

Bismillah Hir Rahma Nir Rahim

WELCOME SERMON OF MAHE RAMZAN

When there was a chance that the moon of Ramadhan would be sighted that evening and it was the last day of Shabaan. Rasool AllahSallallahu Alaihi Wasallam would gather the Companions in Masjid e Nabvi and deliver a sermon in which he would explain the blessings, excellences, worships and importance of the month. He would urge the Companions to benefit from the days and nights of the month and not to be lazy in the slightest during the month, and consider each second of the month a great treasure.

Details about the welcome sermon are found in the books of Ahadith, which we had mentioned below:

Hazrat Salman Farsi Radiyallahu Anhu narrates that Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam delivered a sermon on the last day of Shabaan and said, “O People!
= A very auspicious month is about to arrive upon you.
= Allah Ta’ala had made Fasting during the days compulsory and standing in worship during the night voluntary.
= The person who tries to attain closeness to the Lord through any good deed, it is as though he has performed a compulsory worship in any other month.
= The person who performs a compulsory worship in Mahe Ramadhan, it is as though he performed 70 compulsory worships in any other month.
= This is the month of patience, and the reward for patience is Paradise.
= It is the month of sympathy towards other people.
= The livelihood (Rizq) of believers is increased in this month.
= The sins of the person who provides food to another to open their Fast (Iftaar) are forgiven, his neck is freed from the fire, and he gains the same reward as the person who is Fasting without any reward being subtracted from the person who was Fasting.
Upon hearing this, some of the Companions said, “Ya Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, not all of us has the means by which to satisfy a Fasting”. Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam replied, “The reward will also be granted by Allah Ta’ala to one who feeds them even one date or one sip of water or milk.”
= This is a month whose beginning is mercy, middle is forgiveness, and end is freedom from the fire.
= The person who lightens the load of his slave in this month is forgiven and freed from the fire by Allah Ta’ala.
= Do four things constantly in this month. With two of them you can please your Lord, and two are such that you cannot get by without them. The two things with which to please the Lord are reciting the Kalima and seeking forgiveness and repentance (Taubah o Istigfaar). The two things without which there is no chance of forgiveness are to ask Allah Ta’ala for Paradise and seek His Mercy form the fire of Hell.
= The person who gives water to a Fasting person at the time of Iftaar will be given water by Allah Ta’ala from my Pond of Kausar (on the Day of Judgement), after which he will not feel any thirst until he enters Paradise.”

May Allah Ta’ala guide us to obtain maximum benefits from the Mahe Ramadhan.
And May Allah Ta’ala forgive all Ummah of Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam Ameen.

The Beauty of..Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilahi Raaji'oon

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabaraka'atuhu

One of the meaningful emails…. just so amazing…

The meaning of " Inna Lillahi Wa Inna
 Ilahi Raaji'oon" &
Seven names of Allah
  Inna lillaahi wa inna
 ilayhi Raaji'oon
Yeah, sure we say this statement
when someone dies. Also some of us
may say this sentence when they lose
something, suffer a setback or harm.  Butآآآ…..do you know what it means?

Sure, everyone know that it obviously

means 'To Allaah we belong and to Him is our return.'
But that's not what I am talking about.
I mean آ….do you REALLY, TRULY
understand these words and their implications
 in a Muslim's life?

It means آ…whatever we have is not really ours. It belongs to Allaah..
Take a look around you; everything you see,
all that you have and all that there isآ….in
you, on you, around youآ….belongs to Allaah, alone.

It is Allah Who has given you all the property
and goods you possess, and that He is the true Owner of them all.
So the cars that you own, the houses that you
live in, the businesses you possess all truly
 belong to Allaah

The kids that He blessed you with, the health

that He gave you, the time that He has allowed
 you are all Allah's property.

Even the bodies we live in and the life that
we have belongs to Allaah alone. "And to Allah belongs the inheritance of the heavens and the earthآ…." (Surah Aal-Imraan:180)
"The kingdom of the heavens and the earth and everything in them belongs to Allah. He has power over all things." ( Surat al-Ma'ida: 120)
'Say: 'To Allah belongs the East and the Westآ…'(Surah al-Baqarah:142) Now, since everything belongs to Allaah, then we have to include even our souls in that list..

The very souls that we think of as our "self"; our "nafs"; our "being" -- whatever you want to
call it -- that very thing that distinguishes you
from the rest of the world, belongs to Allaah. It's not YOURS.
In fact, YOU are not YOURS.
You belong to Allaah.
And this is the essence of the concept of slavery to Allaah in Islam. And since He is the true
Possessor of everything, and everything is His property, He allots what He wills to whomever He willsآ…A 6.and then He takes it away. After all, it was Allaah's to begin with.
So He may give you some thing and then take it back after a while..

He will bless you with a precious child that

you love dearlyآ…and then He may take it away.
He will grant you money, honour and

statusآ…..and then He may take it away..
He will give you youth, vitality and health and then surely He will take it away.

In fact everything you have will only be with you for a very short while.

And then the Owner will claim His Right.
So when Allaah does reclaim what was rightfully His, WHY MOURN OUR LOSSES?
Just like a friend who lends you his book.
And then after a few days, he wants it back and you give it back to himآ…no regretsآ…..no sorrowآ….
no questions asked.

Similarly, if Allah takes back some of His blessings upon you for some reasonآ….so be it.
Say Alhamdulillaah.
 Don't grieve.
Be patient.
Submit to the will of Allaah, being pleased
with His decision for you. For surely He will
only do what is best for you.

Just think
آ…..The Owner came and took it back.
Rememberآ….that you're not the real ownerآ…..you were NEVER the real owner to begin with. You only had everything because it
was Allah who gave it to you in the first place.
If He didn't give it to you, you wouldn't have had it in any wayآ…in fact, you couldn't have had it.
Rememberآ….man enters into this world empty handedآ…and leaves it empty handed.
Rememberآ….that everything we have, all the blessings we enjoy, are gifts from Almighty Allah....gifts that we enjoy for a limited period
until He takes them away whenever He deems fit.

They are a trust from Allahآ…a loan to youآ
to see how you respond to these gifts from Allaah and how you use themآ….in the obedience of the Almighty, thanking Him and worshipping Himآ…آ…ORآ…آ…...to the disobedience to the One Who gave then to you in the first place.
Take note of the words of the Prophet
(Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) on the
2 0occasion of the death of his son,
Ibraahim:
'Our eyes are filled with tears, our hearts
with grief, but we say nothing with our lips
except that which pleases Allah.... Verily,
to Allah we belong, and to Him we return.' (Bukhaari) And we all know the famous incidence about the companion AbuTalha and his wife
when one of the sons died and Abu Talha was
not at home. She washed and shrouded him and when Abu Talha came home and asked about his son, she said,
'The child is quiet and I hope he is in peace
آ….'(Bukhaari)

Subhaan Allaah
آ….such patience!
And such Imaan in the statement "Inna lillaahi wa inna ilayhi Raaji'oon"!
She truly understood its meaning and the
affect it should have on her life as a Muslimah, submitting to him and being pleased with whatever He has decreed for her.

She knew that whatever she has, is not truly

hers. Rather, it is Allaah'sآ….and He took back whatever He owns at its appointed time.
And it is because of this Imaan so strong, this understanding, that the Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) made dua for them

and Allaah ble ssed them immensely.

"'They (i.e. Abu Talha and his wife) had nine

sons and all of them became reciters of the
 Quran (by heart)." (Bukhaari)
"Be sure we will test you with something of
fear and hunger, some loss in goods or lives,
but give glad tidings to those who are steadfast,
who say when afflicted with calamity: 'To Allah
we belong and to him is our return.' They are those on who (descend) blessings from Allah and mercy and they are the once that receive guidance." (al-Baqarah: 155)
The Prophet (PBUH) said 'Pass on knowledge
from me even if it is only one verse'
