Do my parents have rights over me even after they have died?

Abu Usaid Saidi said:-
We were once sitting with
The Prophet !( Allah's peace and blessings be upon him)
when a man from the tribe of Salmah came and said to him:-
 O Messenger of Allah!( Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) do my parents have rights over me even after they have died?
And  said:-
 Yes.
You must pray to Allah to bless them with His Forgiveness and Mercy,
fulfill the promises they made to anyone, and respect their relations and their friends .

(Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah).
    

 

 

PROPHET MOHAMMED(SAW) SAID ,

"WHEN A MAN DIES, HIS ACTS COME TO AN END;EXCEPT THREE:

1.CHARITY(MADE BY HIM WHEN HE WAS ALIVE)

2.KNOWLEDGE(BY WHICH PEOPLE BENEFIT)

3.PIOUS SON (WHO PRAYS FOR HIM)

                                                         SAHIH MUSLIM(4005)

 

 

FROM THE POINT 3 IT INFERS THAT WE HAVE PRAY FOR OUR PARENTS IRRESPECTIVE OF WHETHER THEY ARE ALIVE OR DEAD
