Muhammad Ali's Life Lessons Through His Daughter's Eyes.

Boxer Muhammad Ali's advice to his daughters

Mashallah very nice exemplar/advice for our Spouses, Mothers, Sisters and daughters

The following incident took place when Muhammad Ali's (KELAY) daughters arrived at his home wearing clothes that were not modest. Here is the story as told by one of his daughters:

When we finally arrived, the chauffeur escorted my younger sister, Laila, and me up to my father's suite. As usual, he was hiding behind the door waiting to scare us. We exchanged many hugs and kisses as we could possibly give in one day.

My father took a good look at us. Then he sat me down on his lap and said something that I will never forget. He looked me straight in the eyes and said, "Hana, everything that God made valuable in the world is covered and hard to get to. Where do you find diamonds? Deep down in the ground, covered and protected. Where do you find pearls? Deep down at the bottom of the ocean, covered up and protected in a beautiful shell. Where do you find gold? Way down in the mine, covered over with layers and layers of rock.
You've got to work hard to get to them."

He looked at me with serious eyes. "Your body is sacred. You're far more precious than diamonds and pearls, and you should be covered too."

Mind Blowing Information about Qur'an

ا سلام علیکم و رحمتہ اللہ وبرکاتہ

Very interesting findings of Dr. Tariq Al Swaidan  might grasp your attention:
Dr.Tarig Al Swaidan discovered some verses in the Holy Qur'an
That mention one thing is equal to another, i.e. men are equal to women.

Although this makes sense grammatically, the astonishing fact is that the number of
times the word man appears in the Holy Qur'an is 24 and number of times the word woman appears is also 24, therefore not only is this phrase correct in the grammatical sense but also true mathematically, i.e. 24 = 24.

Upon further analysis of various verses, he discovered that this is consistent throughout the whole
Holy Qur'an where it says one thing is like another.
See below for astonishing result of the words mentioned number of times in Arabic Holy Qur'an
Dunia (one name for life) 115 .
Aakhirat (one name for the life after this world) 115
Malaika (Angels) 88 .
Shayteen (Satan) 88
Life 145 ...... Death 145
Benefit 50
Corrupt 50
People 50 ..
Messengers 50
Eblees (king of devils) 11 . Seek refuge from Eblees 11
Museebah (calamity) 75 . Thanks ! 75
Spending (Sadaqah) 73 . Satisfaction 73
People who are mislead 17 Dead people 17
Muslimeen 41 . Jihad 41
Gold 8 . Easy life 8
Magic 60 .Fitnah (dissuasion, misleading) ! 60
Zakat (Taxes Muslims pay to the poor) 32 .
Barakah (Increasing or blessings of wealth) 32
Mind 49 .Noor 49
Tongue 25 . Sermon 25
Desite 8 .Fear 8
Speaking publicly 18 . Publicising 18
Hardship 114 .... Patience 114
Muhammed 4 . Sharee'ah ( Muhammed's teachings) 4
Man 24 . Woman 24
And amazingly enough have a look how many times
the following words appear:
Salat 5 , Month 12 , Day 365 ,
Sea 32 , Land 13
Sea + land = 32 + 13 = 45
Sea = 32/45*100q.=71.11111111%
Land = 13/45*100 = 28.88888889%
Sea + land 100.00%
Modern science has only recently proven that the water covers
71.111% of the  earth, while the land covers 28.889%.

Is this a coincidence? Question is that
Who taught Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) all this?
Reply automatically comes in mind that
                                 ALMIGHTY ALLAH
                                              taught him.This as the
                                             Holy Qur'an
also tells us this.please pass this on to all your friends
Aayah 87 of Suraa (Chapter) Al-Anbia !
para 17 :
LA ILAHA ILA ANTA
SUBHANAKA INI KUNTU MINA ZALIMEEN.

During the next 60 seconds,
stop whatever you are doing,
and take this opportunity.
(Literally, it is only 1 minute).

Before You go to sleep

Assalamualaikum(W.R.B.T)
The Prophet (SWS) one day said to Ali (RA): Ya Ali! Do these five things before going to bed at night:

1. Give 4000 Dinaars in Sadaqa and then sleep
2. Read one complete Quran and then sleep
3. Pay the price for Janna'h and then sleep
4. Make two people happy with each other when they are upset and then sleep
5. Do one hajj and then sleep

Hazrat Ali (RA) said, Ya Rasulallah! This looks impossible, how will I be able to do it? Then the prophet (SAWS) replied:

4 times reading surah Fatiha is equals to four thousand Dinaars giving in Sadaqa.

3 times reading surah Ikhlas (Qul hu Allahu Ahad) is equals to one complete Quran.

3 times reading any durood shareef (Shortest: Sallalaho Alaihi Wa Salam) is the price of jannat.

10 times Astagfirullah (or any istighfar) is equals to making two unhappy people happy with each other.

4 times third Kalima is equals to one hajj.

After this Ali (RA) said, Ya Rasulallah (SAWS)! Now I will do all these before going to bed.

My dear brothers and sisters, it takes less then 5 mins for all the above zikr and look at the virtues for it.....who would not want to have all these virtues to be in their book of good deeds.
To remind oneself of it, the easiest way is to write down on a piece of paper all the above zikr to be done b4 going to sleep and stick that piece of paper just next to UR bed.....and of course Allah is the one to remind.

It will be very nice of u if u could Pls forward this to as many Muslims as possible coz if anyone starts doing these Aamaal then there is no doubt that U will also be rewarded for it. Inshallah.

Pls do Dua that Allah guides us to the right path...Please also remember in your prayers/duas to us and all ummat-ul-muslimeen. ......... ..

Real Purpose Of Our Life

The below message shows the real purpose of our life. Kindly read it slowly feeling each and every sentence. May Allah guide us all on the path of true believers and Sunnah of Prophet Mohammed (Peace be upon him) and bless us with his mercy on day of judgement. Aameen.

I woke up suddenly one night
and saw a strange light in my room ....

The problem is that the lights are off

I saw the clock, it was 3.30 in the morning

Okay...so where is all this light coming from??

----------

I turned around and saw something very strange..

My body was half way through the wall (??!)

I immediately pulled it out and sat down to see if i'm okay

.....

This is strange...

I tried to push onto the wall, but MY ARM GOES THROUGH

...
I heard a sound

I turned to my brother's bed to see him sleeping

I was really scared of what was happening to me...so I tried to wake him up.....but....he doesn't reply!!

I went to ! my parent's bedroom..I tried to wake up my mother...and father...I just wanted somebody to react to me...

but nobody did.

I tried to wake my mother up again...she woke up this time...

-----

she got up ... but didn't communicate to me

She was saying "In the name of Allah, most Merciful, most Gracious" (بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم) again and again...

She woke my dad up saying 'get up, man, I want to check up on the kids.'

My dad replied in disinterest .. 'it's not time for this, let me sleep and inshAllah tomorrow i'll get to that'

But she was insisting..so he woke up.

I was THERE. I was screaming..'dad', 'mum' ... nobody was replying

I held mother's clothes to grab her attention..but she didn't recognise my existence

I followed her 'till she got to my bedroom

They got into the room and turned on the lights...
it wasn't making any differe! nce to me anyway because there was a strong light there.

I then saw the strangest thing in my life...

my OWN BODY.....on my bed.

I was trembling...how can there be two of me??...how can that person look so much like me??...and what is he doing on my bed????

I started hitting/slapping myself to wake up from this nightmare...
but it was too real to be a nightmare..

dad said 'Yalla, see the kids are sleeping. Let's go back to bed..'

but mother wasn't at all confident...she went to the person sleeping in my bed and said

'Khalid, wake up!! ... WAKE UP!!'

but he wouldn't reply.

She tried again and again....but no reply.

Then i turned to see my dad tearing...
Today witnesses the first time in my life that I have seen my dad's tears.

The place was shaking with the screaming

... My brother woke up...."What's going on??!"

In a very sad tone! , with tears rolling down her cheek, mother replied 'your brother's dead! Khalid is DEAD!!'

------

I went to mother and said 'please mum...don't cry..I'm right here look at me!'

But nobody's replying to me..WHY??

I turned to Allah and asked Him to wake me up from the nightmare!

quickly following my dua was a voice saying (Quran):

" You were in negligence from this, so We uncovered the blinds and today your sight is (like iron) "

لقد كنت في غفلة من هذا فكشفنا عنك غطاءك فبصرك اليوم حديد

Suddenly two creatures held my arm..they weren't human!!

"Leave me ALONE! Who are you and what do you want from me??"

'We're your grave's guards'

I said 'but I'm not dead yet! let go of me!!'

I can still see, hear, touch, and speak..I'm not dead!

They replied wit! h a smile : "You humans are fascinating! You think that by dying your life ends, while in fact life on Earth is a small dream compared to the Here after; a dream that ends at your death."

They started pulling me towards my grave...

On the way I saw people just like me, each had two guards like mine.

Some were smiling, others crying, others screaming.

I asked the guards 'why are they all doing that?'

They replied 'These people now know their fate...some were in ignorance so they--'

'--so they go to Hell??!' I interrupted

They said 'yes.'

and continued..

'and those laughing are going to Heaven'

I quickly replied: 'What about me...where will I go??'

They said 'you were at times a good Muslim, while other times not. One day you obey Allah, the next you disobey Him. And you weren't clear with yourself and your fate will remain so: lost.'

I replied, shaking: 'SO! AM I GOING TO HELL??'

They said: ' Allah's mercy is great, and the journey is long '

I turned to see my family carrying my dead body in a coffin..so i ran to them ..

I said: 'make dua for me'

but nobody replied..

I went to my brother and warned him .. 'be careful with what you do in this life... don't be a fool like myself!'

I was really hoping that he could hear me...

The two angels (guards) tied up my soul on top of my body ..

I saw my relatives pouring sand over me ..

----

at that moment I was hoping that I would be in their place...

that I can turn to Allah and do as much as He wants from me...
that I would ask for forgiveness and once and for all repent my sins that angered Him...

but unfortunately I couldn't.

I shouted ' People, don't let this life tempt you! Wake up to the truth... one day you will! DIE, and you never know when..or how. '

I hoped for somebody to hear me....nobody there did

but YOU heard me....

save yourself.

Smile to others, forgive them when you have the power to punish them. Allah forgives those that forgive others. Do your prayers regularly with an open heart. Let Allah guide your life, not Satan. Read the Quran regularly and let the Prophet (p.b.u.h) be your role model in life.

Work in this timed life for your salvation in an eternal one.

And ... make dua for me because I'm not perfect. And I point the above to myself just as much as I do to my friends.

Please spread this message to as many people as possible, for every person whose heart it touches Allah will reward you in this life and the hereafter.

Jazak allah Khairan,
Mohammed Shakir.

7 Tips for Improving your Relationship with the Quraan

7 Tips for Improving your Relationship with the Quraan

1. Before you touch it, check your heart.

The key to really benefiting from the Quran is to check your heart first, before you even touch Allah's book. Ask yourself, honestly, why you are reading it. Is it to just get some information and to let it drift away from you later? Remember that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was described by his wife as a "walking Quran": in other words, he didn't just read and recite the Quran, he lived it.

2. Do your Wudu (ablution).

Doing your Wudu is good physical and mental preparation to remind you you're not reading just another book. You are about to interact with God, so being clean should be a priority when communicating with Him.

3. Start with reading only 5 minutes everyday.

Too often, we think we should read Quran for at least one whole hour. If you aren't in the habit of reading regularly, this is too much. Start off with just five minutes daily. If you took care of step one, Insha Allah (God willing), you will notice that those five minutes will become ten, then half an hour, then an hour, and maybe even more!

4. Make sure you understand what you've read.

Five minutes of reading the Quran in Arabic is good, but you need to understand what you're reading. Make sure you have a good translation of the Quran in the language you understand best. Always try to read the translation of what you've read that day.

5. Remember, the Quran is more interactive than a CD.

In an age of "interactive" CD-Roms and computer programs, a number of people think books are passive and boring. But the Quran is not like that. Remember that when you read Quran, you are interacting with Allah. He is talking to you, so pay attention.

6. Don't just read, listen too.

There are now many audio cassettes and CDs of the Quran, a number of them with translations as well. This is great to put on your walkman or your car's CD or stereo as you drive to and from work. Use this in addition to your daily Quran reading, not as a replacement for it.

7. Make Dua (supplication).

Ask Allah to guide you when you read the Quran. Your aim is to sincerely, for the love of Allah, interact with Him by reading, understanding and applying His blessed words. Making Dua to Allah.
REMEMBER ME IN YOUR PRAYERS
MAY ALLAH BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
