Women..................

Women should refrain from wearing such adornments which may attract the men's attention on the streets, like bangles, anklets, etc. that make noise and make known the presence of a women.

During Jahiliyyah, when women walked in the streets wearing anklets and no one could hear them, they would stamp their feet so that men could hear their anklets ringing. Allah forbade the believing women to do this.By the same token, if there is any kind of adornment that is hidden, women are forbidden to make any movements that would reveal what is hidden. Allah says in the Qur'aan: "And let them not stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornments." [Soorah an-Nur (24): 31]

Allah (The Almighty) says:

(O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks (and/or veils) over their bodies. That is better that they should be known so as not to be annoyed and molested. Allah is Ever Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.)[33:59]-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Allah (The Almighty) also said:(And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and guard their private parts and not display their adornment (and beauty), except that which appears thereof (ordinarily) and to draw their coverings over their chests and not display their adornment except to their husbands, their fathers, their husband's fathers, their sons, their husband's sons, their brothers, their brothers sons, their sisters sons, their women, that which their right hands possess (their slaves) or those male attendants having no physical desire, or children who are not yet aware of the private aspects of women. And let them not stomp their feet to make known what they conceal of their adornments. And turn to Allah in repentance, all of you, O believers that you might succeed.)[24:31]--

"Women should not be like the moon which everyone can see uncovered; women should be like the sun which makes eyes bow down before they can see it"

When I stand before God at the end of my life,
I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left,
and could say, "I used everything you gave me."
